SchedulingKit + Integration for Slack

With the SchedulingKit app for Slack, you can automate your meetings through the AI Bot. SchedulingKit allows you to share meeting links to Slack public channels and users via email without leaving Slack. You can chat with the AI Bot and ask faqs. SchedulingKit sends you event notifications when the invitee schedules an event or cancels it.   

Adding/Connecting Slack 

  1. ●     Login to your SchedulingKit account: Visit the website link "http://app.schedulingkit.com"
    ●     Once logged in, click Settings.
    ●     Then click the Integration tab (If you see a dropdown, please click Integration from the dropdown menu).
    ●     On the Integration page, find Slack Integration and click on the "Add to Slack" button.
    ●     Once you allow SchedulingKit to access your account, your SchedulingKit account will connect to the Slack app. You will redirect back to the page with the success text "Your account is successfully attached".

Usage 

  1. Once the app for Slack is successfully connected to your SchedulingKit account, you will be redirected to the success page.

  • You can navigate to the Apps portion in the Slack Application, send messages to the SchedulingKit app and share meeting links within the workplace.
  • If you don't have any Event Type, create a new one by clicking the + New Event Type button on the top right corner.
  • Fill in the information and click save.
  • Once you have an Event Type set, the Type oblique command (oblique commands act as shortcuts for specific actions in Slack. When the user types oblique (/),  a command set appears. SchedulingKit app for Slack has two oblique commands:  1) /schedulingkit_email (It sends an email)  2) /schedulingkit_team ) (It shares a message in any channel of Slack)

Removing/Disconnecting Slack

  • To disconnect/remove the SchedulingKit  app for Slack, Type logout in the message tab of the SchedulingKit app for Slack.
  • "Successfully logout from current account" message will be received on logout.
  • You can also remove the SchedulingKit app for Slack by navigating to the configuration tab. At the bottom of the page, there is a button Remove App
  • Click Remove App.
