Clients

The Clients section (also called Contacts) is where you manage your clients — view their info, booking history, create new contacts, invite them to the customer portal, and manage their addresses.

Where to find it

  • Sidebar: Clients.
  • Routes: /clients (list), /clients/create, /clients/{id} (show), /clients/{id}/edit.

List page

  • Lists all clients with name, email, and key details.
  • Search to find clients quickly.
  • Create opens the new client form.

Creating a client

  1. Click Create.
  2. Enter name, email, and optional fields (phone, notes).
  3. Save.
  4. Optionally send a portal invite so they can access the customer portal.

Client detail

  • Route: /clients/{id}
  • View full client info: name, email, phone, notes, booking history, and addresses.
  • Actions: Edit, Invite to portal, Manage addresses.

Editing a client

  • Route: /clients/{id}/edit
  • Update name, email, phone, notes, and other fields.

Inviting to the customer portal

From the client detail or edit page, click Send invite. The client receives an email with a link to log in to the customer portal (via magic link or password). Once signed in, they can view their bookings, leave reviews, and manage their profile.

Addresses

When supported, you can manage addresses for each client:

  • Add address — Street, city, state, zip, country.
  • Edit address — Update existing address details.
  • Delete address — Remove an address.

Addresses are used for invoices, delivery, or reference.
