Modules

The Modules settings page lets you enable or disable major features and customize the terminology used throughout SchedulingKit to match your business.

Settings → Modules.
Route: /settings/modules.

Feature toggles

Turn features on or off based on what your business needs. Disabled features are hidden from the sidebar and not accessible.

Locations

Setting	Description
Enable locations	Show the Locations section. Manage physical business locations.
Location-based event types	Assign services to specific locations. Customers see only services available at their chosen location.
Location-based employees	Assign staff to specific locations.
Location-based hours	Set different working hours per location.

Finance

Setting	Description
Enable finance	Show the Finance section — invoices, transactions, taxes, gift cards, commissions.

When finance is enabled, you can also configure:

Gift cards — Enable/disable, set custom amounts, default validity.
Commissions — Enable/disable, auto-approve, default rate, payout frequency, minimum payout.

Reviews

Setting	Description
Enable reviews	Show the Reviews section. Collect and display customer reviews.

When reviews are enabled, you can also configure:

Review requests — Auto-send review request emails, set delay after event.
Moderation — Auto-approve, minimum rating for auto-approve, require comment, allow anonymous.
Display — Show reviews on booking pages, show staff ratings.

Custom terminology

Customize the labels used throughout the app to match your industry:

Changes are reflected everywhere in the app — sidebar, page titles, buttons, and messages.

How modules affect the sidebar

When a module is disabled:

Its sidebar items are hidden.
Its routes return 404 or redirect.
Data is preserved — disabling a module doesn't delete existing data. Re-enabling it brings everything back.
